The Colin Montgomerie Links Academy
Situated next to the famous Championship courses, this is a great place to warm up before a round, fine tune your game or even take your first ever shot. This is a superb teaching environment with a range of programme's specially designed to suit every golfer, from the scratch player to the first timer.

Other local activities which might interest you include:

Ayr Racecourse
Come racing at Ayr and enjoy a great day out at Scotland's top racing venue. Throughout 2003 Ayr stages 25 days racing, both National Hunt and Flat, providing all year round entertainment and top sporting action.

Walking and Cycling
Ayrshire and Arran are great places to bring your walking boots or bike and head off into the open countryside. Walkers have a choice of hill walking and rambling, while Arran poses greater challenges of ridge walking and mountaineering. The National Cycling Network has routes in Ayrshire, passing through some of the most scenic countryside, and making use of off the road tracks and waterside paths wherever possible.

Fishing
If fishing takes your fancy, the mighty river Stincher has prime salmon beats and has admirable back-up from Girvan, Doon and Ayr. There are also dozens of remote lochs which largely remain unfished.

If you require further information on any of the activities mentioned please contact us.
